Winston’s Restaurant at Sullivan University will introduce a new series of monthly wine tasting classes on Thursday, Jan. 26.

Southern Wine and Spirits will kick off Winston’s Wine Academy with a presentation on the wines of Southern California from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The price per person is $25, which includes five tasting portions of the featured wines, light snacks and instructional materials.

Winston’s Wine Academy will be held on one Thursday evening per month, and each class will feature a different region. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Winston’s Restaurant at (502) 456-0980.

Guest speaker will be Joey Aavig, of Southern Wines and Spirits.
