Jean Farris Winery showcases Kentucky in The Big Apple

In August of this year the James Beard Foundation invited Jean Farris Winery and Bistro with Executive Chef Justin Thompson to come to New York City and showcase not only the food, but also the internationally awarded Kentucky wines of Jean Farris.

Our big night in the big apple took on an air of celebration as one course after the other was received with praise. At the end, Jean Farris Executive Chef Justin Thompson was posed with the question of when he was to open his restaurant in Manhattan he simply smiled and replied, \\\"Never, you must visit Kentucky to have this meal again!\\\" It was what we had wished for, to leave New York with applause.
